A sunset view from the balcony of my grandparents' apartment at Edgemere in Dallas.

The sun came out today after weeks of hiding behind the clouds. I took advantage of the sunlight and took a few photos.

The doors to my wardrobe, with shadows from the miniblinds in the bedroom window.

A water glass.

A hook on the wall, waiting for a painting or photograph. Perhaps I should blow up this photo and hang it on the hook.

I have posted some photos at flickr.com, including some neat close-ups of my new iPod!

Here's a lovely photo of the sunrise this morning, as seen from my livingroom window.

And last but not least, a photo of Sasha sitting on the windowsill and basking in the morning sunlight.

Frost on a bench.

A frost-covered leaf.

This morning was the first really cool morning in several weeks. It seems that winter is finally on the way. By the time I walked to work, the sun was up and the temperature had risen to 2 C; but in the shade the leaves were still covered with frost.

The first visible signs of autumn have now begun to appear on the exposed outer branches of the maple trees. Even so, Stockholm has been blessed with warm and sunny weather this week. Let's hope it stays this nice for another week or two!

Yesterday there was a brief but heavy rainshower just as I was leaving work. I got soaked as I ran to the subway station downtown. By the time I left the station near my home, the rain had passed. In the sky was s lovely rainbow.

Storm clouds in the East.

Sunset in the West.

And one more shot of the rainbow, with the natural history museum in the distance.
