The first visible signs of autumn have now begun to appear on the exposed outer branches of the maple trees. Even so, Stockholm has been blessed with warm and sunny weather this week. Let's hope it stays this nice for another week or two!

Yesterday there was a brief but heavy rainshower just as I was leaving work. I got soaked as I ran to the subway station downtown. By the time I left the station near my home, the rain had passed. In the sky was s lovely rainbow.

Storm clouds in the East.

Sunset in the West.

And one more shot of the rainbow, with the natural history museum in the distance.

A bird using my windowsill as a toilet. How nice.

Sunday I went moutain biking South of the city. On the way back home I rode along the West side of Brunnsviken. I took this photo from the shore. Across the water you can see the E18 and the walkway underneath the highway. That footpath leads to Ulriksdals palace.
